The Art Institute of York-Pennsylvania and Americans for the Arts have announced that entries for the 2013 Poster Design Competition will be accepted through Jan. 31.
High school seniors and high school graduates are challenged to design a poster that best expresses the competition's theme, "You Can Create Tomorrow." Contestants will compete in two categories: high school senior or high school graduate/adult.
Local winners in the high school senior category will earn up to a $3,000 tuition scholarship, and local winners in the high school graduate/adult category will earn a $1,000 scholarship to attend The Art Institute school they represent in the competition. The first place winner in each category will progress to the national competition.
Winners of the national competition in the high school senior category will earn up to a full tuition scholarship, and the winner in the high school senior/graduate category will earn a $10,000 tuition scholarship to study at one of the more than 50 Art Institutes schools.
