Northern York County Regional Police have released surveillance photos of a gun-wielding man who robbed the Dollar General in Manchester Township three weeks ago.

Police said he walked into the 1500 N. George St. store about 8:50 p.m. Oct. 26 wearing sunglasses, gloves and black hat, sweatshirt and pants. He loitered in the store until customers left, then went to the front door and locked it.

He showed two employees -- a man and a woman -- that he had a gun, then tied up the male employee's hands and put him in a bathroom, police said.

The robber forced the woman employee to empty the store's cash registers, after which he bound her hands and put her in the bathroom too, police said.

The robber fled with an undetermined amount of cash, and the employees called 911 after freeing themselves, police said.

Anyone who knows the identity or whereabouts of the robber is urged to call 911 or police at 292-3647, or leave a tip online at nycrpd.org.
