A man who was found asleep inside a Dillsburg business late last month is now charged with two counts each of theft and theft from a motor vehicle in relation to incidents that happened in the borough on Oct. 27.

Nathan Paul Yates, 18, of the 1000 block of Zeigler Road in Warrington Township allegedly broke into two vehicles parked in the first block of West Hanover Street and removed items, according to Carroll Township Police.

He's also charged with burglary, criminal trespass attempted theft and criminal mischief for the burglary of Universal Seal Co. in the 100 block of North Second Street.

Yates was found asleep inside the business when its owners arrived there on Oct. 29, police had said.

Bail for that alleged burglary was set at $5,000. Yates also has a detainer for an alleged probation violation, meaning he can't be released even if he posts bail, according to police.
