Codorus Valley Bancorp, Inc., parent company of PeoplesBank, on Wednesday announced a quarterly cash dividend.

It will pay $0.11 per share, payable Nov. 13 to shareholders of record by the close of business on Oct. 23.

The latest announcement brings the company's cash dividends to $0.40 per share for the year, a 14 percent increase from 2011.

A 5 percent common stock dividend was also announced Wednesday.

It will be payable Dec. 11 to shareholders of record at the close of business on Oct. 23.
