A roving patrol will be on the lookout for drunk drivers in York County this weekend.
Sobriety checkpoints will also be set up in Adams and Lancaster counties from 6 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Sunday, according to the Center for Traffic Safety.
Cinco de Mayo, which is Saturday, is expected to bring out revelers.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, from 2006 to 2010, 36 percent of all highway fatalities on May 5 and early on May 6 were caused by impaired drivers with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 percent and above.
