For the sixth time in seven years, the York Catholic girls' tennis team is the York-Adams League Division II champion.

The Lady Irish clinched the outright title with a 4-3 win over Biglerville on Thursday afternoon at Springettsbury Park.

York Catholic clinched the match when the No. 2 doubles team of Maggie Javitt and Carolyn Thomas earned a 6-3, 6-3 victory.

Javitt (No. 3) and Carolyn Thomas (No. 5) also won in singles for the Irish, as did Kathryn Thomas at No. 4.

Carlee Brumgard (No. 1) and Jenna Glass (No. 2) won in singles for Biglerville and combined to win the No. 1 doubles match.

York Catholic finished division play at 8-0. Biglerville fell to 6-2.

OTHER GIRLS' TENNIS

DALLASTOWN 7, NORTHEASTERN 0: At Dallastown, Emily Kistler, Angela Friedrich, Christie Friedrich and Artika Saharan won in singles and doubles to pace the Wildcats. Haley Brown added a singles win for Dallastown.

WEST YORK 5, DELONE CATHOLIC 2: At McSherrystown, the Bulldogs captured four of the five singles matches in straight sets. Olivia Purtell, Allison Morningstar, Lydia Fairlamb and Shayla Lutzinger each won a singles match for the Bulldogs.

CENTRAL 6, DOVER 1: At Central, the Panthers received singles victories from Dilina Patel, Leah Chiaverini, Taylor Strausbaugh and Sarah Vlazny to win the York-Adams Division I match. For the Eagles, Miranda DeLauter won a singles match.

RED LION 5, SOUTH WESTERN 2: At Hanover, Kate Jayamaha, Katelyn Witmer, Elizabeth Anderson and Alison Miller won singles matches to clinch the win for the Lions. Jayamaha and Witmer also won the No. 2 doubles match. Rachel Fabrick won at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Mustangs.
