In honor of its opening one year ago, Mudhook Brewing Co. will host Mudfest, a celebration with its one-of-a-kind craft beers, steamed crabs, a cornhole tournament, outdoor taps and tables and live acoustic performances by local musicians Kingsfoil, the Mark DeRose Duo and Matt Swanner.
The event will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday and will take place both inside the pub and in the surrounding courtyard outside Mudhook. Cherry Lane and Clarke Avenue will be closed for the occasion. An admission fee of $2 per person for the entire evening will contribute to the cost of live music.
Mudhook's second Cornhole Tournament will begin at 4 p.m. Prior registration for each two-person team is required and costs $10. See Mudhook's Bar Manager Kathy Koht at the pub to register. Winners of the tournament will each receive a $20 gift card to Mudhook Brewing Co. and free registration in the next tournament.
Steamed crabs will be provided by Paddy's Seafood of Dallastown. Crab tables and a set of outdoor taps will be set up in the courtyard outside Mudhook throughout the evening (while supplies last).
Mudhook's Mudfest will be held rain or shine.
