Supervisor Robert Stanley Jr. handedly beat a challenge from former township police chief Scott Hockenberry for a two-year seat on the Fairview Township board of supervisors.
Unofficial results show Stanley received 1,844 votes while Hockenberry mustered 659 votes.
Stanley will compete the final two years of the unexpired term.
Hockenberry won both the Republican and Democrat primaries for a six-year term but faced a write-in challenge by supervisor John Jones in the general election.
In that race, Hockenberry received 1,160 votes to 1,282 write-in votes. Exact write-in votes by candidate are not available on election night.
Hockenberry was terminated from his job as chief last year after a picture of him posing with a topless woman surfaced.
