Washington College junior goalkeeper Lin Robinson has been named the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week for men's soccer for the week ending Oct. 27.

Robinson, from York, did not allow a goal in 90 minutes of action for the Shoremen in a pair of contests last week. He made a career-high five saves in the second half against Johns Hopkins and got the victory when the Shoremen rallied from a 1-0 deficit to win, 2-1, on Saturday. His final save came with 14:23 left when he was able to deflect a rocket shot by a Johns Hopkins player over the goal to preserve the lead. Three nights earlier, he made one save in 45 minutes of action in his first career start and did not allow a goal at Swarthmore.

Robinson is a York Country Day graduate.
