Central York High School graduate Aurielle Mosley has been named to the Daktronics All-Atlantic Region First Team for the first time in her career.
The 6-foot, 2-inch redshirt senior forward finished her Millersville career as the program's leading rebounder and shot blocker. She was the only player from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference to be named to the All-Region First Team after winning the PSAC East Women's Basketball Athlete of the Year award last Thursday.
For the season, Mosley, averaged 15.1 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game, doing her damage in just 27.1 minutes per game. She also shot 47 percent from the field, ranking second on the team. The points, rebounds and blocks per game totals all led the team, making 2012-13 the third season in a row that she paced the team in all three categories.
Those per-game stats also ranked her second in points, second in rebounds and third in field goal percentage and blocks per game in the PSAC. She was the only player to rank in the conference's top five of each category.
Mosley was also named to the Daktronics All-Atlantic Region Second Team following her sophomore season.
For her career, she was named to three consecutive All-PSAC East First Teams.
She ends her Millersville career as one of the most dominant players the program has ever seen. She scored the fifth-most points in team history (1,421), pulled down the most rebounds (1,020) and blocked more shots than any other player (247). She was just the second player in the program's history to rank in the top five of each category, with Shelly Bowie the only other player to accomplish that feat.
