Two York College runners have been honored by the Capital Athletic Conference.

York senior Tim Hartung was selected the CAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week after pacing the Spartans to a second-place team finish at the Christopher Newport Invitational. Hartung placed eighth in a field of 122 NCAA Division III runners. He crossed the finish line in 25 minutes, 52.6 seconds. When factoring in Division I competitors in the race, Hartung's time was good for 10th out of 164 runners.

York junior Jess Miller was selected as the CAC Women's Cross Country Athlete after leading York to a third-place team finish at the Christopher Newport Invitational. Miller placed seventh in a field of 118 Division III runners with a time of 22:51.7. When including Division I competitors at the meet, her time ranked ninth out of 153 runners.
