The York College volleyball team picked up a much-needed Capital Athletic Conference win on Thursday night over visiting St. Mary's, 25-11, 13-25, 26-24, 25-16.

The Spartans improved to 15-10 overall and 2-1 in the CAC, while the Seahawks fall to 15-5 and 1-2.

Junior Katie Huston and freshman Ijeoma Igwe each drilled home 14 kills. Sophomore Alison Dorsey added nine kills. Junior Kristin Martinak handed out a career-high 44 assists to go with had six digs. Sophomore Katherine Graziano recorded a match-high 18 digs.
