Kennard-Dale High School graduate Hana Krechel ended her standout collegiate career in style on Sunday.
Krechel was named the tournament most valuable player after leading the Lebanon Valley women's lacrosse team to the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championship with a 14-10 victory at McDaniel.
Krechel had six assists in the game. That followed her seven-goal, three-assist semifinal performance on Saturday to guide the Dutchmen (13-5) to the title.
The win established a new record for wins in a season for the fourth-year program. Krechel ended her career with 410 points, ranking third all-time in NCAA Division III. She finished with 272 goals and 138 assists. Her goal and point totals are all-time Middle Atlantic Conference records.
The Dutchmen were making their second ECAC appearance after making it to the semifinals last year. They were the top seed in this year's tournament, knocking off FDU-Florham in the semifinals 18-10 to advance to Sunday's final.
