The Penn State York baseball team swept Penn State Wilkes-Barre in a Tuesday doubleheader by a combined score of 17-4.

The game scores were 5-2 and 12-2.

PSY improved to 10-4 in Penn State University Athletic Conference competition. After starting the year 0-7, PSY has won 10 of its last 12 games to improve to 10-9 overall. The Lions currently sit in third place in the PSUAC standings.

PSY pitcher Dan McMillan, a South Western High School graduate, held Wilkes-Barre to two runs on five hits in seven innings to pick up the Game 1 win.

Pitchers Dan Rogers, a Susquehannock grad, and James Gotwalt, a Spring Grove grad, each tossed three innings in the Game 2 victory.

At the plate, Northeastern grad Tyler Page led PSY with multiple hits in both games, going a combined 6-for-7 at the plate with three RBIs and four runs scored.
