The York College women's volleyball team fell 3-0 in the first round of the Capital Athletic Conference playoffs at St. Mary's College on Thursday night.

The Spartans ended the season with an overall record of 9-26. The Seahawks improved to 21-8 overall and will travel to Marymount for the CAC semifinals at 7 p.m. Friday.

The game scores were 25-10, 25-17, 25-22.

The Spartans were led by senior Dani Mastroieni (seven kills, five digs), freshman Emma Geisser (10 digs), freshman Allie Donahue (28 assists, 10 digs, fives kills) and senior Ashley Rineman (27 digs). The loss closes out the careers of seniors Mastroieni, Rineman and Melissa Patterson.
