Penn State York used an eight-run seventh-inning to salvage the second game of a baseball doubleheader against visiting Penn State Scranton on Wednesday.

The local Lions trailed Scranton 11-4 entering the bottom of the seventh, based largely on a 10-run third inning by the visitors. But PSY used the eight-run rally to grab a 12-11 victory. Scranton won the opener, 22-6.

Tyler Page (three hits, two runs), Trevor Neff (two hits, one run), Rob McCubbin (two hits, one run) and Nick Wallin (one hit, two RBIs, one run) paced PSY in the second game.

In the opener, Scranton broke open a 5-5 game by plating six runs in the fourth and 11 runs in the fifth. McCubbin and Teegan Leader each had two hits for PSY in the opener.

The Yorkers are now 3-9 on the season.
