The York College track and field teams hosted Gettysburg, Messiah and Washington Adventist Tuesday in York.

The Spartan men captured the team victory with 105 points.

Will Feliciano broke the Spartans' 20-year-old record in the 800 run (1:57.63 set by Christian White in 1992), establishing a new school best 1:56.90. Feliciano also anchored York's victorious 1,600 relay.

Freshman standout Joquan Jamison was first in the 400 for York and also contributed to both victorious relay squads -- the 400 and 1,600.

York's Phillip Cavaluchi won the long jump, while York's Aaron Robertson won the 1,500 and Tim Hartung nabbed the victory in the 3,000. Zach Rogers won the triple jump for the Spartans.

The York women took second with 75 points.

The Spartans secured eight event victories, including a school-record performance by freshman Jasmine Smith in the long jump (17-10 3/4), which not only breaks the previous Spartan record but also put her in the top-15 women long-jumpers in NCAA Division III this season.

Sophomore Laura Rowlands won the high jump and the triple jump.

In the throws, Katie Shinn (hammer) and Meaghan Jackson (shot put) each recorded first-place points for York.
