Widener junior guard Kate Dellinger picked up another award recently when she was named second-team All-ECAC South Region for the second straight year.

This comes after she was named Honorable Mention All-America by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), Commonwealth Conference Player of the Year and second-team D3Hoops.com All-Mid-Atlantic Region for her exploits on the court.

Her work off the court also has been noticed. Dellinger earlier this season was tabbed second-team Capital One CoSIDA Academic All-America, becoming the university's 45th Academic All-American. Last season, she was picked first-team all-league, second-team All-ECAC South Region, second-team Academic All-District and a member of the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Team.

The Eastern York High School graduate was third in the league this season with 13.6 points per game, first with 2.9 steals per contest, seventh with 7.4 rebounds per game, 15th with 2.1 assists per contest and 14th with a .727 free throw percentage.
