Gettysburg jumped to a 7-1 first-inning lead and pushed their advantage to 15-2 in the sixth as the Bullets (10-4) won their third game in a row with a 17-3 non-conference victory over Penn State York at a windswept Kirchhoff Field Monday afternoon.
The contest featured 19 walks and 25 hits and lasted over three hours. It was Penn State York's season opener. Rob MacCubbin, Tyler Page, Nick Wallin and Nat Puryear each had two hits each for the local Lions.
