Five days before The York Revolution start Atlantic League action, the 2014 Fan Fest brings fans out to the park to catch a country concert and hunt for some Easter eggs.
Country singer Jerrod Niemann, best known for his songs "Drink To That All Night" and "Lover, Lover," takes the field at 1 p.m.; he'll play an acoustic set, according to a press release from the team. The Santander Stadium doors open at 12:45 p.m., and tickets -- which grant access to all parts of the Fan Fest -- cost $3 each, the release says.
Then, the team breaks out the whiffle ball bats. The Revs and York City Little Leaguers will swing for the fences in a home run derby.
After that, sticking with the whiffle ball, two teams of four Revs and four Yorkers each duke it out in a "Pros vs.
Next, there's a kids-only Easter egg hunt. Participants will be split up into three age groups, the press release says.
The day ends with a Revs intrasquad scrimmage, the release says.
