York Weekend has gathered family-friendly (and Fido-friendly) Easter events in York County. Find egg hunts, bunny breakfasts and Easter-related events to celebrate the season. This list will continue to be updated - check back for additional events to be added:

  • Hunt for eggs in the outfield at York Revolution's Fan Fest from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Santander Stadium, 5 Brooks Robinson Way, York. A full-team autograph session will kick-off the event at noon on the Brooks Robinson Plaza. A concert from country star Jerrod Niemann is scheduled at 1 p.m., followed by the "Pros & Joes" whiffle ball game. The Easter Egg hunt will follow the whiffle ball game after 2 p.m. Cost: $3.   • Face painting, egg dyeing, apple hunting and more family-friendly fun is in store during a Spring Fest and Easter Apple Hunt from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Flinchbaugh's Orchard & Farm Market, 110 Ducktown Road, Hellam Township. Live bunnies, chicks and Guinea pigs will be available for children to interact with, too. Registration for the event is required by April 17. Cost: $5. Information: 717-252-2540.
  • Meet the Easter Bunny at the 12th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at The Markets at Shrewsbury, 12025 Susquehanna Trail, Glen Rock. Chidlren ages 10 years and younger can participate in the free Easter egg hunt. Information: 717-235-6611, ext. 100.
  • Decorate eggs the Pennsylvania-German way during a York County Heritage Trust kids' workshop from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 5, at the Colonial Complex, 157 W. Market St., York. Children will create scratch-carved eggs and learn to decorate using onion skins and candlewax. Cost: $5; trust members are free. Information: 717-848-1587.
  • All aboard for an Eggspecially Fun Bunny run April 12-13 and 18-19 on the Steam Into History train, 2 W. Main St., New Freedom. Runs will go to Glen Rock at 11 a.m., 1 and 2:30 p.m., with a visit from the Easter Bunny and a narrator on board. Cost: $26 for adults and $15 for children.   • Pets can join in the Easter fun, too, for Pet Photos with the Easter Bunny from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at the York County SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, Manchester Township. All proceeds benefit the YCSPCA. Cost: $5. Information: 717-764-6109.
  • Four-legged friends can sniff out treats at York Township's Annual Canine Egg Hunt Saturday, April 12, along the walking trail at York Township Park, 25 Oak St., York Township.   • Enjoy Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 12 and 19, at Royal Manchester Golf Links, 5700 Board Road, Mount Wolf. A breakfast buffet, pictures with the Easter Bunny and an Easter egg hunt will be offered. Cost: $14.95 for adults, $9.95 for children ages 4-12 and free for childen under 4.   • Bring your flashlights for the Teen Glow Egg Hunt starting at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at York Township Park, 25 Oak St., York Township. Children in grades 7-12 are invited to search for prize eggs in the dark - each hunter will also receive a slice of pizza and a soda. Cost: $3.   • Registration for the Columbia Community Easter Egg Hunt opens at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at Glatfelter Field, Columbia. Games, food and silent auction begin at 10 a.m. Children in six age groups can register to collect the 6,000 eggs spread on the football field. This free event will be held rain or shine.   • The Easter Bunny visits Brown's Orchards & Farm Market, 8892 Susquehanna Trail South, Loganville, in the cottage from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 12-13 and 19, and in the cafe from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, with a visit from a real, live Easter chicken on April 16.   • The Youth Group of Christ Lutheran Church will host their Annual Pancakes Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at the church, 105 S. Main St., Shrewsbury. There will be three free Easter egg hunts at 9, 9:30 and 10 a.m. Tickets: $6 for adults, $4 for children ages 5-12 and free for children 4 and under. Information: 717-683-6935.
  • Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Church, 5890 Steltz Road, Glen Rock, will host an Easter egg hunt for toddlers to fifth-graders, 4 p.m. Saturday, April 12. For more information, call the church office at 717-235-1523.
  • Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 311 Haines Road, will host its annual Easter egg hunt, 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, in its fellowship hall. The event will also feature a puppet show, crafts, prizes and refreshments. Children up to Grade 5 are invited to attend and are asked to bring their own baskets.   • Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2121 Roosevelt Ave., will host its 12th annual Easter Story and Egg Hunt for children ages 10 and younger, 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12. The rain-or-shine event will also feature crafts, snacks and live chicks. Pre-registration is not required. For more information, call 717-764-4746.
  • Lewisberry United Methodist Church, 309 Market Street, will host an Easter egg hunt and hot dog lunch, noon-1 p.m. Saturday, April 12. The egg hunt, with prizes, will begin at noon.
  • Mount Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2164 Mount Zion Road, Springettsbury Township, will host its annual Easter egg hunt for infants to fifth-graders, Saturday, April 19. The event will begin with a light lunch at noon followed by the hunt. All participants will receive candy and prizes. Pre-registration is required by calling the church office at 717-757-7626.
  • A traditional breakfast of eggs, pancakes, sausage and bacon will be served, 9-10 a.m. Saturday, April 12, at Messiah United Methodist Church, 1300 N. Beaver St., North York. Admission is free and open to the public. After the meal, an indoor Easter egg hunt for infants to sixth-graders will be held. Children need to bring their own baskets for the hunt.
  • The Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Susquehanna Post 2493, of Mount Wolf, will host a preschool Easter egg hunt, 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, in Mount Wolf Community Park, Maple and South Fourth streets. Open to infants to kindergartners, the hunt will be divided by age groups with time between each group for parents. Recognition will be given to the youngest boy and girl and all children will receive a treat. Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny will be in attendance.   • St. John's Blymire's United Church of Christ, 1009 Blymire Road, Dallastown, will host an all-you-can-eat Easter breakfast, 7-8:30 a.m. Sunday, April 20.   • Otterbein United Methodist Church of Spry, 50 School St., will host an Easter program and egg hunt for children, 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19. Information: 717-741-1429.
  • Zion United Methodist Church, 1155 Felton Road, Red Lion, will host a children/youth egg hunt with activities for all ages, 10:15-11 a.m. Sunday, April 20. Register children's names and ages by calling the church office at 717-244-2585 or Cele at 717-244-0924.
  • West York Block Watch will host an Easter egg hunt at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Shelly Park on North Highland Avenue, between Stanton and Filbert streets. Children ages 1-12 are invited to the event, which will feature candy and prizes.
  • Pleasureville United Methodist Church will host their annual Easter Eggstravaganza at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at 2606 N. Sherman St., York. Children ages birth through fifth-grade are invited to decorate the church for Easter, followed by the egg hunt on the church grounds. Children under 5 must have adult supervision.   • Bethel UMC will hold a community egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at the church, 1674 Furnace Road, Brogue. Prize eggs will be given. Information: 717-244-5237.

  • Friendship Community will hold an Easter egg hunt with prizes, visit with the Easter bunny, face painting and more, at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 19, (rain or shine) at the church, 3380 Fox Run Road, Dover. Children up to fifth grade welcomed. Information: 717-779-0400.
  • St. Paul United Methodist Church will have a spring bazaar and egg hunt with cupcake walk, crafts and food, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at the church, 2036 Telegraph Road, Pylesville, Md. Egg hunt starts at 11 a.m. Information: 410-692-4051.
  • Paradise Lutheran Church will host a community Easter event from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, at the church, 3241 Church Rd, Thomasville Each child should bring a dozen hard boiled eggs to color. Lunch will be served, then families will go to several faith discovery stations to help them explore parts of the Easter story. There will be 2 eggs hunts for pre-k and elementary students at 1 p.m., followed by a visit from the Easter bunny. To register or for more info, call 717-259-9547.
  • Bring your baskets for a community Easter egg hunt at noon Saturday, April 12, at Fairmount Park, in Red Lion. Children up to age 12 can hunt for eggs and special prizes will be given out. No advance registration is necessary. Information: 717-244-6896.
  • The 39th Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at Kiwanis Lake, in Farquhar Park. Children ages 1-8 can gather candy filled eggs. Children will be divided into four age groups. Rain date is 3 p.m. Sunday, April 13. A free lunch will be offered by the York Rescue Mission. Information: 717-849-2276.
