The gray and ominous skies have started letting it snow upon York County, and travel is starting to get trickier, judging by the York County 911 Live Incident report.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's 511 website said speed limits on I-83, Route 3, I-81 and certain other main roads in central Pa. are reduced to 45 miles per hour until conditions improve.
Snowfall has picked up, and the National Weather Service expects it to stay heavy as the afternoon and evening continue. Visibility is low and the roads are slick and may become slicker -- Saturday night may bring freezing rain, the NWS said.
