The York Fair runs Friday through Sept. 15 at the York Fairgrounds, with gates opening at 11 a.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and noon Monday through Thursday.

Exhibit buildings close at 9 p.m., with commercial buildings open until 10 p.m. On-site parking is $7.

Admission is $8 for adults, $4 for children and teens ages 6-18, and free for children 5 and younger, with special admission deals on these days:

Special admission days

*Friday: $1 admission per person all day; free admission for Scouts and Scout leaders in uniform, as well as senior citizens with Medicare card; all Deggeller midway rides $1 per ride

*Sunday: Free admission for a family of four from 3 to 5 p.m. with Weis Markets Preferred Shoppers Club Card

*Monday: Free admission all day for four people with a coupon from the Community Courier newspaper

*Tuesday: $3 off regular adult admission all day with a York Fair sticker from Utz Salty Snacks

*Wednesday: Free admission all day for Emergency Services personnel with proper ID, as well as active duty military and veterans with proper ID; $3 off regular adult admission for patrons with a York Fair sticker from Utz Salty Snacks

*Friday, Sept. 13: Free admission from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for one adult with a preschooler

*Sunday, Sept. 15: Free admission all day for a family of four with Weis Markets Preferred Shoppers Club Card; all day ride wristbands only $18
