Police said they were able to arrest a Dover Township man for allegedly stealing from local produce stands after tipsters recognized him from a photograph released last week.
Travis Andrew Kemper, 27, of 3865 of Craig Ave., was arrested without incident about 9:45 a.m. Friday at his job in Conewago Township, according to Northern York County Regional Police.
He is charged with theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.
Police said he damaged cash boxes and stole money from produce stands on Stillmeadow Lane in Manchester Township, Hanover Road in Jackson Township and on South Salem Church and Davidsburg roads in Dover Township.
Kemper targeted the stands in Manchester and Dover townships twice each, according to Lt. David Lash.
Anyone with information about other produce-stand thefts is asked to call police at (717) 292-3647.
