Commuter Services of Pennsylvania is kicking off its third annual Try Transit Month in September by partnering with Central PA's transit agencies and encouraging local commuters to try bus or rail transportation options rather than driving alone.

Commuters who participate in Try Transit Month will be entered to win prizes.

During the month of September, commuters are invited to log their transit trips with Commuter Services and they will be entered to win prizes such as a monthly transit pass, an Amazon Kindle or a pair of round-trip Amtrak tickets to New York City.

Commuters can log their trips online at www.pacommuterservices.org or obtain a log sheet by contacting the Commuter Services office at (866) 579-RIDE.
