The York County Department of Parks and Recreation will present an Open Bee Hive demonstration from 2:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25 at Nixon County Park.

Bee specialist Jeremy Barnes will introduce the fascinating world of honeybees through this open hive demonstration. Barnes will bring a hive from home and open it to show the inner workings. The hive will be located underneath a screen tent.
