As Stevie Ruiz-Tovar lies in a hospital bed unconscious for the 34th day, Harrisburg police still are trying to piece together whether foul play pushed the 24-year-old into a coma.

An unidentified woman, whom police deemed "a good Samaritan," dropped the York County native off at Harrisburg Hospital, disheveled and comatose the afternoon of July 12.

But little-to-no information exists on how the seemingly healthy mother of a 6-year-old daughter suddenly ended up in this condition, unable to explain what happened to her.

Police, who began investigating the matter July 31, said Ruiz-Tovar's family had canceled several meetings with them to discuss the matter.
