It "didn't appear that anyone was struck and nobody turned up at a hospital" with a gunshot wound," Utley said.
It appears a robbery preceded the shooting, the captain said.

York City Police are investigating a Tuesday afternoon incident in which shots were apparently fired at a moving vehicle.
No victims have been found at the scene, said Detective First Class Jeff Spence.
According to 911 dispatches, about 10 to 20 shots were fired in the vicinity of Lincoln Street and North Beaver Street at about 3:45 p.m.
Spence said it appears a white Mitsubishi encountered gunfire from another vehicle on Lincoln Street.
The Mitsubishi turned onto North Beaver Street, but was disabled when police arrived, one wheel broken off in an apparent crash, Spence said.
No one was in the car.
Police have roped off areas at the intersection of North Beaver and Lincoln Street.
North Beaver is closed between Parkway and Lincoln Street.
