A Springettsbury Township man arrested in his 12th DUI charge earlier this month waived his preliminary hearing in district court Wednesday, moving the charge, and others, to the York County Court of Common Pleas.
Keith A. Rohrer Sr., 47, of the first block of Longstown Road, was arrested July 6 for DUI. He has previously been charged with DUI 11 times, including seven times within the past decade, according to charging documents. He was deemed a habitual offender until 2063, charging documents state.
Rohrer, who is being represented by the Public Defender's Office, will be formally arraigned on Aug. 23, according to court documents.
In addition to DUI, Rohrer is also charged with being a habitual offender and possession of a controlled substance. He remains in York County Prison on $50,000 bail.
