A York City man allegedly had drugs, cash and his young son in an SUV when officers stopped it Saturday night.

Justin Rashaad Brown, 24, of the 200 block of South Belvidere Avenue, faces two counts of drug possession and was cited with driving on a suspended license and for not having the boy in a safety seat, according to his charging documents. He is free on $25,000 bail.

According to the documents, an officer stopped Brown as he was driving a Lincoln Aviator in the first block of South Belvidere Avenue about 8 p.m. The officer found Brown's 4-year-old son in the vehicle without a safety seat, documents state.

The officer verified Brown's license is suspended and called for a tow truck to remove the SUV. During a search of the SUV, the officer found two clear plastic bags containing suspected marijuana, a digital scale and a large amount of cash, documents state.

Brown was arrested and taken to central booking for arraignment.
