Join Historic York, Inc. at its upcoming quarterly Preservation Lunch and Learn Program Tuesday, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.. Historic York conducts these sessions to offer information and guidance to anyone interested in the multifaceted world of historic preservation.

The upcoming session is dedicated to best design practices and "green" attributes of alternate materials in historic preservation applications. Presenting for this session is Versatex Trimboard and Aeratis Porch Flooring. This session is being conducted by an AIA/CES Registered Provider and offers One Learning Unit Hour. The event is sponsored by John H. Myers with Babcock Lumber. Limited space available. Lunch will be provided.

Historic York Inc. was founded in 1975 during an effort to save one building from demolition. Since then, Historic York Inc. has grown in scope and continues to support architectural preservation, rehabilitation, and adaptive reuse of historic properties throughout York County. Historic York, Inc. has played roles in local preservation projects including the Cookes, Willis, Kirk and Forrey Houses, as well as the Haines Shoe House, Farquhar Park Bandstand and the Hanover Junction Railroad Station. The organization continues to assist thousands of people with technical advice as well as with National Register applications.
