Tyler Lingg threw a three-hit shutout to lead Pleasureville to a 2-0 victory over first-place Wrightsville on Sunday afternoon in a York-Adams American Legion League baseball contest.

Lingg struck out one and walked two for the home team. He escaped a bases-loaded, one-out situation in the top of the seventh by getting a game-ending double play.

Garret Kirkpatrick had two hits for the winners, including a double. Dylan Shue and Aaron Brown had RBI singles for Pleasureville.

Colby Shimmel pitched well in defeat, allowing just five hits in a complete-game effort. He struck out four and walked one.

Wrightsville fell to 6-2-1 on the season, while Pleasureville improved to 5-2-0.

OTHER LEGION GAMES

NEW OXFORD 3, STE WARTSTOWN 0: At Stewartstown, Anthony Lippy pitched no-hit ball for 52/3 innings and finished with a two-hit shutout for New Oxford. He struck out seven and walked three. Lippy threw a no-hitter vs. Northeastern on June 2 and retired the only batter he faced to get a save vs. Dover on June 5. Until Kyle Amrhein's single in the sixth, Lippy had gone 13 straight innings without giving up a hit. Darren Majczuk had two hits, including a double, for the winners. Corban Czap scored two runs. Matt Belt pitched a complete-game five-hitter for Stewartstown, but was the tough-luck loser. Belt fanned seven and walked four.

SPRING GROVE 4, HANOVER 0: At Stoverstown, Nick Spangler pitched a three-hit shutout to lift the home team to the win. He struck out four and walked two. He also had an RBI single when Spring Grove scored all its runs in a four-run fourth. Colby Murphy had a two-run single for the winners, while Jon Gross added an RBI groundout. Spring Grove improved to 4-0-0 and is the only unbeaten team in the York-Adams American Legion League.

CENTRAL LEAGUE GAME

STOVERSTOWN 8, MOUNT WOLF 2: At Stoverstown, Ryan Kassab pitched a complete game to get the win for Stoverstown. He allowed two first-inning runs and then shut out the Wolves. He struck out nine and walked two, while allowing eight hits. Paul Smith (two hits, double, three RBIs), Kurt Krout (two hits, RBI), Adam Delauter (two hits), Jake Hockensmith (two RBIs) and Zach Schuler (three stolen bases) led Stoverstown, which had six steals in all. Chad Mohr had two hits and an RBI for the Wolves. Stoverstown improved to 9-4.

SUSQUEHANNA LEAGUE GAME

FELTON 1, WINDSOR 0: At Windsor, Felton scored the game's only run in the first inning without registering a hit. Tyler Taylor walked, stole second, moved to third on an error and scored on a groundout. Sam Schwartz got the win, striking out eight and walking one. Taylor got the save, entering with two outs in the bottom of the seventh with runners on second and third. He got a flyout to end the game. Garvey Blymire pitched well in defeat, going the distance and allowing just one unearned run. He struck out two and walked one. Each team finished with five hits. Rick Thompson had two hits for Windsor.
