Kreutz Creek Valley Library offers a range of activities in its Summer Reading Club.

-- Worm Race with Miss Krystal, Tuesday, 1 p.m.: Listen to some great wiggly, wormy stories; participate in our worm race by borrowing one of our "book worms" or bring your own; we may even taste a worm. Ages 3-12.
-- Stuffed Animal Camp-Out, Wednesday, 10 a.m.-noon: Drop off your favorite stuffed animal friend and let them spend a fun-filled evening at the library. Don't forget to pack sleepwear and a blanket. The toys will sleep over at the library, while staff and volunteers will be on hand to supervise and record their antics. Ages 3-10. On Thursday, pick up your stuffed animal and view a slideshow of its adventures followed by punch and cookies.
-- Under the Floor Book Club, Tuesday, June 25, 6-7:30 p.m.: Down a laundry chute and into a fantastical underground world fall 12-year-old Gregor and his sister, Boots. Ages 9-12. Call 252-4080 to register.
-- Mystery Solved! Tuesday, June 25, 6:30 p.m.: Dig in the mystery garden with members of the Horn Farm Center for Agricultural Education. Stay for a story and craft. Ages 4 years and up. Call 252-4080 to register.
-- Dig into Science! Underground with Katie Sechrist, Wednesday, June 26, 10:30 a.m.: Kids K-4th grade and their parents explore discovery stations together during this family workshop with Leap into Science Instructor Katie Sechrist & York College Professor Anthony Fredericks.
-- Storytelling, Thursday, June 27, 10:30 a.m. at Klines Run Park Pavilion near Native Lands Park: Listen to storyteller Judy Wolfman spin some tales about Native Americans, then stay to look for GO York post. All ages.
-- Teen Project Goth/Emo Make-up, Saturday, June 29, 10:30 a.m.-noon: Share your knowledge or learn how to apply make-up using these two subculture styles. Bring your own cosmetic supplies. We will have mirrors and video tutorials and a nail art station. Ages 13-18. Call 252-4080 to register.
