The West York boys' lacrosse team clinched the outright York-Adams Division II championship for the second straight season on Thursday with a 15-4 victory over visiting York Catholic.

The Bulldogs improved to 15-1 overall and 14-1 in the division. West York bounced back from its first loss of the season on Wednesday, 8-5 against Susquehannock.

Seth Clauser (four goals, two assists), Hunter Betz (three goals, assist), Tanner Gerace (two goals, assist), Jon Kane (two goals) and Landon Hanna (two goals) led West York.

OTHER BOYS' LACROSSE

KENNARD-DALE 13, EASTERN 7: At Wrightsville, Jesse Schonbrunner highlighted K-D's victory by scoring five goals and assisting on three other goals. Freddy Seitz supplied three goals and two assists for the Rams, and Nate Mikolinis contributed two goals and two assists. Jon Witman led Eastern with four goals, and Christian Buser connected on two goals and two assists for the Golden Knights. K-D improved to 12-3 in Division II of the York-Adams League.

OTHER GIRLS' LACROSSE

KENNARD-DALE 27, EASTERN YORK 1: At Fawn Grove, the Lady Rams rolled on Senior Night to improve to 16-1 overall and 15-0 in York-Adams Division II. The Rams had already sewed up the division crown. Nicole Black (two goals, nine assists), Leah Kordaz (three goals), Marisa Freund (three goals), Danielle Markel (two goals, assist), Morgan Day (two goals, assist) and Taylor Davis (two goals, assist) led K-D.

YORK CATHOLIC 14, WEST YORK 6: At York Catholic, Lindsay Givens led the Irish with four goals. Shannon Moore, Alexis China and Natalie Fiorenza each scored two goals. For the Bulldogs, Sara Sweitzer scored three goals. York Catholic finished 13-3 in York-Adams Division II, while West York finished 11-5 in the division.
