Bishop Joseph P. McFadden died Thursday, and several services will be held for him in Harrisburg.

The services, which run from Sunday to Wednesday - are open to the public.

Beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday, McFadden's body will be received at St. Patrick Cathedral, at 212 State Street, where he will lie in state until Tuesday evening when a rite of transfer of the body will be held.

The coffin will be closed during all services ,and viewings will end at the conclusion of the evening prayer services.

Services will begin at 8 a.m. Wednesday with a rite of gathering in the presence of the body at Holy Name of Jesus Christ, 6150 Allentown Boulevard.

The solemn funeral Mass begins at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Bishop's Circle at Holy Cross Cemetery, 4075 Derry St.

**Sunday: 7 p.m. rite of reception of the body with solemn evening prayer at St. Patrick Cathedral, 212 State Street.

**Monday: 8 a.m. rite of gathering in the presence of the body at St. Patrick. Mass is at noon and the viewing is at 12:45 p.m. The solemn evening prayer is at 7 p.m.

**Tuesday: 8 a.m. rite of gathering in the presence of the body at St. Patrick. Mass is at noon and viewing is at 12:45 p.m. At 4 p.m. is the rite of transfer of the body to the Holy Name of Jesus Church. Solemn evening prayer is at 7 p.m. at St. Patrick.

**Wednesday: 8 a.m. rite of gathering in the presence of the body and viewing at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 6150 Allentown Blvd. The coffin will be closed at 10 a.m. The solemn funeral Mass is at 10:30 a.m. Burial is at Holy Cross Cemetery.
