A teenager with addresses in York City and Harrisburg is wanted by Harrisburg Police for allegedly shooting a man to death during a fight on Saturday night.
Jovan Vasquez-Cassell, 17, will be charged with homicide when captured, according to Harrisburg Police, who obtained a warrant for his arrest on Monday afternoon.
He is accused of killing Tyrell Vaughan, 27, of suburban Harrisburg, according to police.
About 10:40 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to a bar at the corner of Market and 15th streets for a report of a man -- later identified as Vaughan -- causing a disturbance, police said, but Vaughan left before they arrived.
Ten minutes later, officers were called to the 1400 block of Market Street where they found Vaughan had been shot several times, police said.
It appears he got into an argument with several people in the block, which turned into a violent fight, police said. That's when Vasquez-Cassell shot Vaughan in the head and torso, police allege.
Detectives have asked the teen's family to contact him and convince him to surrender, police said.
Anyone with information about Vasquez-Cassell's whereabouts is asked to contact Harrisburg Detective Timothy Carter at (717) 255-3170 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
