A New Oxford-area diner employee was killed Tuesday afternoon when a large grill fell on her, officials said.
Sophia Paterakis, 56, of the borough, was pronounced dead at Hanover Hospital, where she was flown after the mishap, state police said.
An autopsy Wednesday morning determined Paterakis died of blunt-force trauma to her head and neck, according to the York County Coroner's Office, which has ruled the death accidental.
About 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, a large grill fell on her at the Keystone Diner, where she was working, according to Trooper Rob Hicks, a state police spokesman. The diner is in Berwick Township, outside New Oxford.
