Northern Regional officers investigating one violent gun crime ended up solving a second one as well, after searching an 18-year-old man's bedroom, police said.

Four Dover-area teens are now in county prison, accused of robbing a Pizza Hut delivery man at gunpoint last month.

Kevin Long Jr., 16, Jovan Turner, 16, and Shakeem Acevedo, 17, are charged as adults. The fourth co-defendant, Tyler Grimes, is 18, Northern York County Regional Police said.

Police said the teens called Pizza Hut and ordered five pizzas to be delivered to the first block of Stony Lane on March 15. Just before 10 p.m., the delivery driver arrived in the block.

Long, Turner and Acevedo all donned masks and ran to the 32-year-old driver, police said.

Long pointed a handgun at him and ordered him to the ground, police allege.

Cash, pizza taken: The trio then stole $42 cash, the five pizzas and a thermal bag keeping the pizzas warm, according to charging documents. The driver wasn't hurt.

During the robbery, Grimes acted as a lookout, according to police.

The next day, investigators searched Grimes' home on the suspicion he held a gun to a woman's head and struck her a number of times during a group assault on four people in Dover Township the night of March 16, according to police.

While searching Grimes' Dover Township home, they found a stolen Pizza Hut thermal bag in his bedroom and three empty Pizza Hut pizza boxes on top of a trashcan, police said.

Bragging? Also, police said, investigators learned Long and Acevedo were bragging in school about robbing the pizza driver.

Long bragged he pointed a gun at the delivery driver and said, "On your knees, n-," according to charging documents. He also said they stole $42 cash from the driver, despite the fact that police hadn't released the amount of cash taken, documents state.

Acevedo laughed in school about the fact that a police description of the robbers said they were believed to be white and that there were only three of them, documents state.
