Ken Finch, president of Green Hearts Institute for Nature in Childhood, will discuss how to help parents restore nature play to their children's lives at 6:30 p.m. Monday, in the Welcome Center of York College's Iosue Student Union.

The event is open to the public free of charge and is sponsored by York College, Green Hearts Institute and York County Parks.

Finch will help audience members understand the value and impacts of nature play and how they can restore it to their children's lives - whether in backyards, neighborhood parks, child care centers or schoolyards.

Finch founded Green Hearts in Omaha, Neb., in 2005 as one of the country's first nonprofit conservation organizations entirely dedicated to restoring and strengthening the bonds between children and nature.
