The Spring Grove girls' lacrosse team captured a 7-5 victory over visiting New Oxford on Tuesday night to improve to 3-1 both overall and in York-Adams League Division I.

Emily Bankert led Spring Grove with four goals, while goalie Amanda Carver made nine saves.

New Oxford was led by Tiffany Brzenk, who notched two goals. Colonials' goalie Kelsey Walker had 12 saves.

OTHER GIRLS' LACROSSE

YORK CATHOLIC 13, SUSQUEHANNOCK 5: At York Catholic, Megan Bittner led the Irish with three goals. Jess Mazzur and Lindsay Givens each had two goals and one assist for the winners, while Alexis China had one goal and two assists. Shannon Moore, Meaghan Bilyeu and Sarah Gabriele each scored one goal and added one assist. For the Warriors, Katelyn Welch scored three goals, while Carley VanLuit scored two goals and Brooke Classing added two assists.

KENNARD-DALE 25, YORK SUBURBAN 2: At Suburban, the Rams improved to 4-1 overall and 4-0 in York-Adams Division II. Nicole Black (six goals) and Morgan Day (five goals) sparked the Rams' attack.

SOUTH WESTERN 19, DALLASTOWN 3: At Dallastown, Braxtin Reddinger and Alyx May led the Mustangs with four goals apiece. For the Wildcats, Bryna Cook scored two goals.

OTHER BOYS' LACROSSE

DALLASTOWN 12, SOUTH WESTERN 1: At Hanover, the Wildcats put up a stellar defensive effort to earn the win. Cullen Wenzler had six saves in goal. Jake Mitchell had five goals for the winners, while Tanner Ierley added two goals and an assist. Dallastown improved to 3-1 overall and in York-Adams Division I.

KENNARD-DALE 16, YORK SUBURBAN 2: At Fawn Grove, Freddy Seitz (five goals, two assists), Jesse Schonbrunner (three goals) and Nate Mikolinis (two goals, two assists) powered the Rams, who also received a stellar defensive effort.

SUSQUEHANNOCK 11, YORK CATHOLIC 5: At Glen Rock, Zach Gloeckner and Aiden Kirkendall scored three goals apiece for Susquehannock. Gloeckner and Alex Rebich supplied two assists each, and Kirkendall had one assist. Luke Brennan led York Catholic with four goals and one assist.

WEST YORK 16, EAST ERN 4: At West York, the Bulldogs' Hunter Betz scored four goals and assisted on two other goals. Seth Clauser, Tanner Gerace and Seth Wise each scored twice for the winners. Jon Witman accounted for two of Eastern's goals.

SPRING GROVE 9, NEW OXFORD 6: At New Oxford, Colton Reese, Ty Sager and Trey Baker each had two goals to lead the Rockets. Spring Grove also won the JV match, 5-3.
