The Central York and New Oxford boys' track-and-field teams battled through 18 events on Tuesday afternoon, but still couldn't come up with a winner.
The Panthers and Colonials settled for a 75-75 tie. In the girls' meet, Central rolled to a 95-51 victory.
In the boys' meet, the visiting Panthers won 11 of the events. Jay Stone led Central, taking first in the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles. Teammate J.D. Groff took first in the 1,600 and ran a leg on the winning 3,200 relay.
In the girls' meet, Kennedy Little led Central with first-place finishes in the 100 and 200 dashes, while running a leg on the winning 400 relay. New Oxford's Ayanna Johnson (long jump, triple jump) and Emily Groft (discus, javelin) each had two first-place finishes.
OTHER BOYS' TRACK
WEST YORK 81, KEN NARD-DALE 69: At West York, the Bulldogs used a 41-22 advantage in the field events to win the York-Adams Division II meet. Seven different athletes won individual events for West York. Jacob Wescott captured the 1,600 and 3,200 runs for K-D, while Dylan Moynihan took the 400 and pole vault.
YORK TECH 105, DELONE CATHOLIC 45: At Spry, the Spartans captured first in 10 of the 11 track events. Ronald Henderson led the Spartans, winning the triple jump, long jump and high jump. Teammate Delmar Dickson won the 100 and 200 dashes. For the Squires, Isaac Orndorff won the javelin and shot put.
DALLASTOWN 125, YORK HIGH 20: At Dallastown, the Wildcats won 17 of the 18 events. Individually for the Wildcats, Patrick Reilly won the 1,600 and 3,200 runs, Ben Gates won the shot put and discus and Aaron Bentzel won the triple jump and long jump.
SOUTH WESTERN 119, SPRING GROVE 31: At Spring Grove, the Mustangs captured first in 16 of the 18 events. Individually for the Mustangs, Brady Thayer won the long jump and 110 hurdles and Shawn Secola won the javelin and shot put.
YORK SUBURBAN 97, SUSQUEHANNOCK 52: At Suburban, Chandler Draughn won the 110 and 300 hurdles, Jamie Nixon-Alark won the 100 and 200 dashes and Chris Diaz won the 1,600 and 3,200 runs for Suburban.
OTHER GIRLS' TRACK
WEST YORK 87, KEN NARD-DALE 62: At West York, the Bulldogs displayed excellent scoring balance, collecting 48 points on the track and 39 in the field. The Bulldogs' Jahna Alleyne won the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles and javelin and finished second in the discus. Alleyne's teammate, Elle Stine, recorded the longest leaps in the long jump and triple jump.
DELONE CATHOLIC 113, YORK TECH 36: At Spry, the Squirettes captured all seven field events. Individually for the visitors, Cheyenne Altland won the triple jump and high jump, Isabella Ugarte won the long jump and 100 and Kate Mowrey won the 1,600 and 3,200.
DALLASTOWN 113, YORK HIGH 24: At Dallastown, the Wildcats captured first in all six field events (the pole vault was not held). Individually for the Wildcats, Lillian Cook won the javelin and shot put and Tatianna Purnell won the 100 and 300 hurdles. For the Bearcats, Donella Nelson won the 100 and 200 dashes.
SOUTH WESTERN 99, SPRING GROVE 51: At Spring Grove, Holly Arey and Lynne Mooradian led the Mustangs by each scoring three individual victories. Arey won the javelin, shot put and discus, while Mooradian won the long jump, 200 and 100. For the Rockets, Rebecca Miller won the 1,600 and 3,200.
SUSQUEHANNOCK 99, YORK SUBURBAN 47: At Suburban, Alicia Herman won the 400 and 200 for the Warriors, while Mikayla Mayoryk won the pole vault and javelin.
