Two York County establishments that sell alcohol were cited by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for alleged violations that happened in March.

Falls Hotel, 1179 Cly Road in Newberry Township, was cited for allegedly selling alcohol to a minor, and American Legion Post 403, 4035 Manchester St. in Glen Rock, was cited for allegedly failing to keep records, according to a news release from state police.

If convicted, the businesses face fines of $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can suspend or revoke licenses and require employee liquor license training, the release says.
