Amanda Jones went 3-for-5, including a grand slam and a solo homer, to lead Dallastown to a 12-4 softball victory over visiting Kennard-Dale on Thursday afternoon.
Kelsey Collins went 3-for-4 with three RBIs for the winners, while Julia Snyder, Kayla Merriman and Jenna Eckenrode each had two hits.
For the Rams, Sarah Driggers had two triples and two RBIs, while Teanna Webb went 2-for-3 with a triple.
CENTRAL YORK 16, HERSHEY 0: At Hershey, Taylor Rohrbaugh pitched a four-inning one-hitter for Central in a game that ended after four innings because of the mercy rule. Rohrbaugh struck out seven and walked one. At the plate, Rohrbaugh also doubled and tripled and drove in a run. Jordyn Miller added two hits, including a homer, to go with three RBIs. Kayle Resh also had three RBIs, to go with two hits. Kelsey Shifflett added two hits and two RBIs.
FAIRFIELD 4, WEST YORK 2: At Fairfield, the home team used a three-run second inning to grab the victory. Nicole Kinjerski pitched a no-hitter for Fairfield, the team's first since 1996. She fanned 17 and walked four.
DOVER 16, BIGLER VILLE 1: At Dover, Alexis Gohn allowed just two hits and one run over five innings to get the win. The game was ended after 41/2 innings because of the mercy rule. Gohn struck out eight and walked four. Bri Crossan (three hits, three RBIs), Alyssa Lawton (two hits, three RBIs) and Natalie Cutright (two RBIs) led Dover.
RED LION 11, COLUM BIA 3: At Columbia, Mackenzie Rumburg and Katie Shultz combined to limit Columbia to three runs. Rumburg got the win. Ali Posey tripled for the winners.
