Two Fairview Township Police officers were honored during a board of supervisors meeting held Monday.

Officer Timothy Dehoff received a letter of commendation for sharing information with West York Police that let to the arrests of more than 100 people allegedly involved in a massive retail theft ring.

Dehoff is a 13-year veteran with the department.

Officer Mike Bennage received a chief's commendation for a drug investigation that led to the arrest of four people and the seizure of a large amount of heroin, two stolen firearms and more than $2,500 in cash earlier this month.

Bennage has been with the police department for more than six years.
