Can't think beyond the need for brains? Having trouble with rotting limbs slowing you down as you chase the living?

Or perhaps you're one of the living who needs some advice on whether to pick off hordes of undead with a rifle or get in close with your trusty ax.

York College stands ready to help.

The English and Humanities Department will host a daylong Zombie Symposium starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 6, in the Humanities Center on campus, 441 Country Club Road, Spring Garden Township.

The keynote speaker will be Arnold T. Blumberg of the University of Baltimore, the author of "Zombiemania: 80 Movies to Die For." Panels include discussion of "The Walking Dead" graphic novel and television series, filmmaker George Romero, the Hardy Boys and more. View the current list of seminar topics at the symposium website.

Registration is required for the free event. Visit the symposium website for details.
