Although it might rain on Saturday's parade, Irish eyes will likely still be smiling.

York's 30th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade, scheduled to start at 1 p.m., will take place rain or shine, unless weather is severe.

ABC 27 meteorologist Dan Tomaso said to expect scattered showers - both rain and snow - in the afternoon tomorrow, with first flakes beginning to fall at sunrise. He said the day's temperatures will be below 40 degrees for the most part but that Friday's warmth will likely prevent the weak storm's precipitation from sticking to roads.

He said not to expect much accumulation, as the storm is "nothing major."

The parade's committee said it will announce weather-related decisions by 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Announcements can be found at Facebook.com/YorkStPatParade, @YorkStPatParade on Twitter or www.YorkSaintPatricksDayParade.org.
