York Catholic and Dallastown picked up season-opening boys' tennis victories on Monday afternoon.

York Catholic won at Spring Grove, 7-0, while Dallastown triumphed at Lower Dauphin, 3-2.

At Spring Grove, the Irish swept singles play in straight sets. Adam Hack, Sam Hernandez, Matthew Koury, Scott Bartkowiak and Tim Hartinger each picked up singles victories. In doubles, Hack combined with Koury to win the No. 1 match, while Hernandez combined with Bartkowiak to win the No. 2 match.

At Lower Dauphin, the Wildcats picked up straight-set singles victories from John Schmitt, Payce Berridge and Kyle Salaga.
