York resident Samuel Young Sr. is set to appear on "The Price is Right" on Friday's episode.
Although producers of the show won't reveal in advance what or if Young won cash and prizes, he will at least get a chance on contestant's row to bid on a prize. Check out the York Dispatch on Friday to see what happened to Young.
York already has had two contestants on the show since November, when Theresa Dark, a York College senior, got a perfect bid to get on stage, got two perfect spins to earn cash on the Big Wheel, and won the Showcase Showdown, for a total of $52,000 in cash and prizes. In December, Megan "Molly" Cutright, a Red Land High School graduate, won a trip to Canada on the show.
"Price is Right" airs at 11 a.m. Friday.
