No one was injured, but two students were checked as a precautionary measure after the school bus they were on was involved in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon.

York Area Regional Police said the bus with 45 Leader Heights Elementary students on board was turning from Wise Road onto Indian Rock Dam Road and collided with a car.

Both vehicles were damaged in the crash, police said.

First responders, as well as the Leader Heights Elementary School principal and a representative from the bus company responded to the scene.

A preliminary investigation indicates that the bus driver failed to ensure a clear distance when turning from Wise Road, police said.
