The National Weather Service is forecasting a 60 to 70 percent chance of snow mid-week in the York area.
Sunday's forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies and a high of 40 degrees.
Monday's high is also forecast for 40, with clear skies.
Snow moves into the forecast Tuesday afternoon with a 20 percent chance of precipitation.
The chance of snow increases to 60 percent Tuesday night and 70 percent during the day on Wednesday.
The weather service isn't predicting accumulation amounts at this point, but says the precipitation will move out of the area Wednesday night.
